I've realised that I've visited many hospitals and specialist clinics.

First, I was born in Singapore General Hospital in 1991. About 2 or 3 years later, I was sent to KK Hospital Emergency ward, though I am clueless to what happened. There was a long hiatus, till the year 2001, January, when my maternal grandfather was hospitalised at SGH. I remembered not being allowed into the ward. 2 days later, my grandfather passed away.

Sometime later on in the same year(2001), I was referred to National Dental Centre, where I first sought treatment and which was what saved me from having to remove any teeth when i put on my braces years later.

Moving on, the next trip i had was to Health Promotion Boardin 2004 for the checking of my spinal backbone. According to the x-ray, my curved backbone was a natural occurance, meaning somehow it grew tt way.

2006, I visited a couple of places. First, it was mummy's hospitalisation at National University Hospital for her operation to remove her gut due to gallstones. After that, around june, i went to National Cancer Centre with Qiao Wei for her treatment. The last trip i made was to Mount Elizabeth with the class to visit Kenneth after his operation. It was just before the EOYs, the last weekend before, yet everybody took the time off to visit him.

This year, i've made the most number of trips. Firstly, there was my fracture of my left wrist bone on 5 Jan, which saw me at KKH Emergency ward once again. There were all those follow-up visits and whatsnot, so in actualy fact, i probably visited KKH around 3 times. During march, my paternal grandfather was hospitalised after a fall, at SGH. There, we visited him plenty of times, as he was hospitalised for quite some time. After that, he was moved to Ang Mo Kio Hospice, where again, we visited him a few times. Sometime just before O lvls, I WAS supposed to visit my grandaunt at SGH, who was in coma, but I was busy studying, and so did not do so. The day my O lvl ended, my grandaunt died. Yesterday, I went to NUH to visit my fifth granduncle, who had a stroke, and after that, went on to SGH to visit my grandfather, who was hospitalised again after realising that his wounds were infected again.

And that, hopefully, would be the last trip I make to any hospital or specialist clinic for a long time.

:O Poke

Warning: long post coming up. Or rather, a post with many pics and little words, for pictures speak a thousand words. How cliche! Had belated xmas outing with Yi Chan,Eunice,Bing Hong,Jiemin and Waye Shyang. The signboard you see in the pictures, are made by yours truely!

The following 4 pictures are attempts at imitating Charlie's Angels!

Haha, they decided to have their signboards on real signboards, and since all of them visits my blog, i cant be bias and only upload one of theirs even though it's the same picture all over again each time. Haha. So there. Everyone's. So dont say i'm bias.

Here are some of the pictures from family gathering, still awaiting those from my cousin's camera: No xmas tree this year! But still, a big pile of presents!

Yay, so here's ALL the presents i've received this christmas!
Eunice:

Yi Chan:

Jiemin:

Sis:

Cousin(Gift exchange):

Xiao Gu(aunt):

and plus the pool and bowling games that Waye Shyang bestowed upon us as our Xmas presents, and the movie treat on Sat by Boss! And stupid neh pok auntie at the pool centre, dont let us play just because some of us did not bring ICs out and she doesnt accept Ez-link card as proof of identification even though ALL of us were above 16. Sniff.

Oh yay and hooray! I went to Isetan Private Sale before meeting up with the rest and bought a pair of nike shoes for school. Saw this nice Puma jacket and wanted to get it. But at the cashier we realised it was dirty, so AWWW SHUCKS. Didnt get it in the end.

Because i'm a pain in the butt, i'm not going to change the colour of my blogskin and let all of you readers get blinded by it's colour. Haha! But i shall be nice and remove the song. However, the christmas trees stay. =D

Went to Innova today for "registration". Got cheated! The letter claimed that our place would be forfeited if we dont go. And at such an unearthly timing of 830 reporting time!! The amazing thing was that, WOW! There wasnt any registration process at all. And the auditorium smelt like raw fish combined with the smell of pee that havent been cleared for days. Yay whee. Way to welcome in the new batch of J1 students, even though it's for PAE only.

Did one of my favourite things today - cutting hair! Haha, yay, finally trimmed my fringe, and the shape of my hair, so yay hooray! I have much nicer hair now. Isnt hair falling right in front of your eyes a really beautiful sight? Yay!

It's raining hair

Letter to Santa

Dear Santa,

I have many, many wishes that i want to be granted. Santa, here's the very first of my numerous wishes. Please Ole Saint Nicholas, let me do well enough to get into Victoria Junior College, or if that is really impossible, at least let me do well enough to enter Meridian Junior College.

Next comes my second wish: My mummy has fallen ill with flu, so here goes my second wish. I really hope mummy can recover soon. At the same time, daddy is recovering from his bout of flu too, so please if you may, bless him with good health too.

My third wish is for my sister, I hope she can get her dancing scholarship, though that will meant that i wont get to see her as often. That might be a good thing though: lesser meetings, lesser clashes. And please, I hope she shuts up going on about how i should enter JCs that i
DONT want to enter.

Lastly, I'm going to go all christian-y (even though i'm not one) and cliche-y and wish for world peace and for hunger poverty to become non-existant.

And that, Santa, is the last item on my wishlist. The christmas tree has been set up, and the sock hanging over my door. The wreath placed in the middle of the corridor, and the christmas lights twinkling in the dark. And not forgetting:

MERRY XMAS TO ONE AND ALL!!

Love,
Nette

I've finally decided to unstick my butt off the sofa and crawl over to the computer to upload the pictures from the trip. Though i dono why am i doing it since i have not finish my xmas presents yet and XMAS IS APPROACHING SOON. which gives me something to get excited over about. PRESENTS!! The more i think about it, the more times i go "shit, i'm getting more and more childish by the minute". Oh by golly, I need to learn to grow up soon. Afterall, i aint no kid anymore

Ok, i dont know why my posture for this picture is so bad, someone needs to remind me to stop slouching.

Love this pic, tho my feet seems to be at such an awkward angle, like those losers who dont know how to skate and did not tie their skates properly. Or like those posers who act silly by not lacing up their skates all the way up. Thank god i'm neither.
LOL. Compare this picture to the previous 2. Big difference huh. Taken 2 years back,on my previous trip there.
Aye, dont look down on this ride. Looks real kiddy, and like a gentle ride right? But nooooo. It had to go super duper fast, and we went 2 rounds at 1 shot cos nobody was in the queue. Everybody came out giddy head. Reminds me of the nursery rhyme in which a woman lives with all her children in a big boot.
Classic picture. And yet another unglam pose. What's with me and unglam-ness in these photos??
The super long bridge at the theme park. Took at the exact same spot as my prev trip, but noooo, i'm not showing that pic cos it's FUGLY.
Ho, someone's taller than me now huh. =D
Love the sunglasses, but dint get it in the end cos i wanted a white one and i couldnt find anything suitable.
Kevin and the big big shoe we saw at DC Heroes in Jusco. I forced him to take the pic, thus his forced smile. Haha.
A&W! Extinct in Singapore. Oh how i missed it man. I remember how my family used to go to the ferry at Sentosa just to have A&W. The stationary one i mean, not the one that transport you to and fro from mainland to the island. Redhill used to have one branch too.
Aha, and there we go, back to Singapore. A group shot for memories sake.

Oooooh. I just realised that we went on the exact same date the previous trip. 16 Dec 2005 - 19 Dec 2005, and 16 Dec 2007 - 19 Dec 2007. Such a coincidence!

IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE COS LYNETTE IS BACK IN TOWN!!! haha. Had a simply delightful time at Sunway Lagoon, where we shop till we almost dropped. WHEEEE.

DAY 1:
Woke up early early in the morning to reach Golden Mile by 730. Saw HQ, which i haven seen for a really long time. Queue at the old line at immigration, cos Bryan couldnt use the new technology one yet. The only one who isnt above 16. Kevin had the new passport though. Haha. Check in, did some light shopping before going for archery. 2 bullseye. Hehe.

DAY 2:
Sunway Lagoon theme park! Here, i had my inaugeration to 360 degrees theme park rides. Dont know what it is called, but it's this ride that has 2 arms and swings cages attached at the end 360 degrees. Fun, but my bum felt as though it disappeared. Haha. Kevin was sad, cos he was a tad too short to ride it, so "i am not man enough to ride it." haha! CUTE! after that Bryan was forced to ride with me, cos i needed a partner to ride with since Kevin couldnt. His face was hilarious after the ride, like half of his life had been drained away.

DAY 3:
WOAH! SHOPPING DAY! Started out with ice skating at the indoor rink. It was fun ice skating, since i haven skated since last yr, but the boots were, OH SO VERY PAIN! The way Kevin skates is very cute, should have taken a video! After changing out of the wet pants (in the case of Kevin; the rest of us had dry pants), it was SHOPPING SHOPPING AND MORE SHOPPING!! The shopping centre had build an extra wing from the previous trip and it is so damm HUGE!! Apparently it was funny how we shopped, cause "the 3 jie jies shopped so fast! They go into a shop, Ah Ma haven sit down yet, jie jie all come out already! " - Kevin & Bryan.

DAY 4:
Packed up our stuff from the shopping trip, and prepared to check out. Left our bags at conceige, and went for somemore last minute shopping. Me & sis went with 2 duffel bags and 2 handcarry, and came back with 7 bags. Haha! See how much we bought?? LOL. Went to the new immigration line, the one that uses thumbprint. SO COOL.

Photos another day, since my sis just uploaded it into the laptop and i'm using the computer now. Havent gotten xmas xchange present for Bryan yet. Belt maybe?

The freezer was freezing la, and we had fun trying to arrange the flowers into a somewhat acceptable bouquet. And Boss stepped up to the plate and managed to arrange it into a rather beautiful one! haha! And i got poke by the thorns so many times before we dethorn it so you better be thankful for that Ng Jiemin. HAHA! n we accidently cut off 2 roses. =D
