In honour of our dear missing friend, CALVIN TAN GUAN MING. Even though he may not be by our sides physically, he'll always remain in our hearts as someone who once attended lectures with us.

HAHAHAHA! Finally submitted my JAE form after plenty of headaches, and seeking of opinions from seniors and peers alike, especially to Leck Khai, who spent quite some time talking to me on the phone advising me, and to Cheryl, who until now, is still the senior that knows me best. Oh and of course, Waye Shyang as well, whom i bothered plenty of times during these 3 days because i couldnt decide where to go. Check out my option number 5! Cheap thrill!
Boulder of guilt

Oh my, what a day it has been. The news that we heard filtering all the way to our ears at Innova, what a fright it has been.
Andersonians havent fared as well as expected
I forgot to bring my nametag and school badge even though it wasnt compulsory to wear it, I wanted to. So i went to buy 1 new one at the bookshop. Anyway, whilst travelling, I received another piece of news from Stephanie, who had reached school already.
There are a handful from the last 3 classes who scored above 30, but the school still did well enough to remain band 1.
6 classes, so that definitely puts 4-5 in the last 3 classes right?
Upon arrival, we heard new news again.
4-3 had 45 people taking chemistry. 43 people scored distinctions. SHIT.
We decided to crash the classes and we found Mrs Ashari.
4-4 and 4-5 had a total of 75% distinctions in English. 4-5 alone had a whooping 72%.
And we continued walking around before finding our beloved form teacher, Mr Yong.
Nobody scored above 30 in our class, and all except 2 made it to JC.
Combined humanities was very well done, nobody scored beyond B3
OMG, this made me super happy, as everyone knows, I cant make it for CH, I've never scored higher than C5 before.
The class did very badly for maths, we were the worse class in the entire express cohort.
This killed me can. I was so depending on my maths.
I was never that worried in my life. Sheryl, i'm so proud of you for getting 6-pointer. And i'm so proud of my own 12. =D
6X2=12

Hello I feel like ranting on forever and ever. OH please, just because you cancelled 3 appointments to attend the class gathering, you need not blame me for it right? Go on, blame the entire earth, the sky, the sea whatsoever, but dont you ever dare blame me. What am i? Your FRICKING punching bag eh? And what's with that snobbish behavior of yours? Like oh, you can talk to me but i cant talk to you. Whenever i tried talking to you, it's like talking to myself you know? It's a stupidest one-sided conversations i ever ever ever had in my entire life of 16 years. Oh plus, I smile at your NICELY and you had to dao me. And god knows that I dont tend to make the first move often. GREAT JOB MAN. Guess what? You just lost a potential friend. Your lost, not mine. I've already tried, it's just that your attitude sucks like one hell of a big time.
SINGAPOREANS ARE ONE BUNCH OF A BLOODY OLE HELL RUDE PEOPLE
You know, I was at the cake shop after hockey today, buying a slice of chocolate cake, not for me, but for my sister, when i got into the queue and this old wrinkly auntie who's about 50 years of age i guess, SHE CUT MY QUEUE. So being tired n sticky n backaching from hockey, i POLITELY told her when she looked in my direction that I was queueing. And I was using chinese to speak to her, and you know chinese's like one my my most hated thing on earth and god, guess what that old hag did?
Glared. SHE GLARED at me.
HELLO YOU STUPID OLD WRINKLY BIRDIE, YOU CUT MY QUEUE, YOU'RE IN THE WRONG AND YOU DAMMIT HELL GLARED AT ME.
Sorry for the outburst but I just cant stand people staring or glaring at me. I was fuming like mad after that, but being a gracious person, I let it pass, only allowing myself to shot an evil evil glare at her before I left the cashier. I hope she dies from the daggers shot out from my eyes.
I really love hockey. Should I let it affect me?
And by golly, I really regret not saying Hi to you when i had the best chance just now. SHIT.
Olala, I got my skinnies already. My darling Adidas watch died on me during hockey that day, so I've gotten a cheapo cheapo one to replace it. Haha. It's Casio, and it's kind of cool la. And this sucks, they dont have the converse sneakers in my size.
HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY SIS!
Even though I'm always quarrelling with you and saying I hate you, I love you, really. I dont even get to see you at all since school started, what with the busy schedule of mine and the even busier schedule of yours. Sorry that I didnt get you a present, but you'll get a huge one next year when you turn 21! OMG, you're growing damm freaking old, and so am i.
THURS PLS DONT COME SO SOON!

I had a shock when i walked into Seminar Room 1 for my literature class today. As usual, I did my "HELLO TEACHER!" thing and was settling down when my literature teacher decided to struck a conversation with me.
"Eh Lynette. You were from St John Ambulance Brigade in secondary school right? What was your rank?"
I was SO stunned. Inside, I was thinking:
WAH LAO! I GOT A STALKER LITERATURE TEACHER!
Ok, so I recovered my wits and asked him how did he managed to find out. Of course, he had to give that annoying answer that he was smart just like what i normally do. Then came the bombshell:
"I want to speak to you after class."
Oh-o.
Ok so dammit. He made me so nervous throughout the entire lesson. We were guessing what CCA was he in-charge of. Maybe he was in-charge of the Red Cross Humanitarian Society and wants me to join. Who knows? So the bell rang and guess what he told me?
"I saw your CCA records and as the teacher in-charge of the Student Council, I would like to invite you to a tea session on monday to invite you to join the Student Council."
Student Council. LOL. Stupid me then gave away the fact that I was the headprefect in primary school:
"You sure you saw my secondary school records not my primary school records?"
AND FROM THAT STATEMENT HE IMMEDIATELY GUESSED THAT I WAS HEADPREFECT CAN! NO WONDER HE TEACHES LITERATURE LA!
And so, Lynette became tangled up in the Student Council mess again. Hello, every single school that i went to wants me to join their student council, be it Jiemin Primary, Anderson Secondary and now Innova Junior College. Thank you, I'm very very honoured, really. BUT I WANT TO MAKE THIS CLEAR: I HAVE NO INTEREST OF JOINING THE STUDENT COUNCIL OR IT'S EQUIVILANT.
Oh. And perhaps I should stop making trouble for every literature teacher of mine. I seemed to have the habit of creating slight havoc during literature class. I cant understand why. =D
You look so cute with your braces on
such that I can only wish I still had my braces
Tell me, why do you have to be so gorgeous?
Is come, my love is come to me. =D
If only i had said hi in the library...

A few days back, me and Ting Ling made our plans to skip school today. Yesterday on the way back from Hockey Village on the train, our dear friend CALVIN TAN GUAN MING persuaded both of us to go to school instead. However, today whilst I was stoning at the dining table eating my breakfast, I received a call from Ting Ling telling me that she's really sick. So i told my dad that i wasnt going to school and promptly went to sleep till 12 noon.
Then i woke up and decided to do some online shopping:
Even though I think Crumpler bags are overrated, I still want these, for reasons more than one.

Other than those, I want these as well:
But I probably wont get it because my face's too small to wear sunglasses. Which positively suck.
Annnnndddd I'm looking for nice skinnies like these for CNY.
I'm getting this for sure. =D
This as well!
Haha, joking! I'll be getting coloured contacts, just not this pattern or style.
I want this too!! Seeing how my previous watch broke down that day, and having to resort to wearing my Swatch watch to school, I think it's pretty clear it's time to get a new watch to replace my Adidas one.
To all graduated ex-Andersonians of class 2007: Please bring $10.80 on the day of release of results. It's for the yearbook.
Oh not forgetting,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLING KEVIN!
whose birthday was actually yesterday, but i forgot to mention in yesterday's post. =D

That's what i hate about making new friends. You cant just take them at face value. Just when you think you know someone, you learn something new and then everything changes.
It's no wonder i hate making new friends.
I'm going for the anti-social.

I love mass lectures. I love how you get to see everyone that you want to see. I love lecture theatre 1. I love how I get to wear my new puma jacket. I love how black jumpers can look so so adorably cute, and I love the fact that my jacket's black too.
Lovestoned, very fitting indeed.

Went for hockey today. Andersonians owned at their own respective CCAs. Yay, just realised that Andersonians can be considered as extremely SPORTY. I miss Anderson. Played frisbee before H2 Maths lecture, and ultimate frisbee after that. My hands are bruised from catching the frisbee, but by golly, I think that's the only thing I'm good at. I cant figure out my H2 maths tutorial work. And the air in lecture theatre 1 stinks permanently, kind of like the toilet with all the air fresheners spraying insanely.
M&Ms. =D You make me blush with ecstasy.
Once an Andersonian, always an Andersonian

I went to the hospital again yesterday.

Yesterday was the anniversary of my broken wrist. 1 year and 1 day ago, I broke my left wrist. Exactly a year ago, I had it casted. That's the crucial period for broken bones, right? Once you've broken a bone, it'll never be the same as before, and it'll be easier to fracture it once more. To date, there still remains some effect from the fracture. I cant lean on my elbows to read for more than 5 minutes, even on the sofa. My fingers on the left palm will go tingly and feel as though blood cant flow through. When it gets really cool, my left pinkie and the 4th finger will stiffen, and I'll be unable to move it at will, and it'll be numb and i cant feel anything at all. I cant carry heavy stuff on my left arm and my wrist tends to be at a much lower temperature than my right wrist.
2 days back, I made a post regarding a visit I made to National University Hospital, where my fifth granduncle was hospitalised. Today, as i was preparing dinner in the kitchen, my mummy informed me that he passed away yesterday.
GOD BLESS.
That's how life REALLY is.

Every year, i go through the same process. My mummy would first start nagging at me to purchase all my books. Following that would be the frantic digging of the booklist, which i would usually chuck somewhere around my room. Then it'll be the journey to buy the books and luge them all back, which normally occurs in the last 2 weeks of the year. After that, I'll dig out my uniform, and don it, in hopes that my pinafore would seemed shorter. Every year, it just seemed to remain the same. When school starts, I would than go round searching the Popular bookstores at Jubilee, J8, Northpoint and Sun Plaza, plus my school bookstore for books that i couldnt get. Which is usually a certain number, seeing how i always get them at the last minute.
This year, everything has change, except for one. I still slip into my pinafore, eagerly hoping that it'll now be way, way above the knee. Alas, it doesnt seem to change much since the last time i wore it. Finally,
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008!!!
I hate making new friends
