I'M FINALLY HOME!!!!
Camp@Kota Tinggi was horrible. I never missed Singapore this much, till now. We were so happy to be reaching Singapore that we starting singing "Home" upon reaching the Singapore customs. Our class were like hungry ghosts, thinking constantly of KFC, Macdonalds, Seoul Garden, Pizza Hut etc etc. I blame this on the influence of Walla Fyn. Haha.
1st Day
We were told to report by 700, latest 730, as we were supposed to start leaving at 8. Guess what? My division left at 9 plus, close to 10. Upon reaching Johor River for our Kayaking expedition, it stinks like mad. Apparently, there's a sewage pipe leading into Johor River. So we're going to be kayaking in sewage water. Anyway, after a quick lunch, we started on our expedition. First was the buoyancy test. Which means going all the way down into the water. Eww. So i kayak with Siti and Arjun, with Arjun right at the back to do the steering. Our kayak ended up going in all sorts of direction. Heh. There was this point of time when we were supposed to raft up, and we happened to raft up beside Jeffrey's kayak. The challenge was to stand up on the kayaks and hold hands with the adjoining kayak. Jeffrey's kayak started to wobble so me and Siti quickly let go of the respective hands and squat down, and then the dumbest thing happened. When we squat down, our kayak was quite stable already. But the people on Jeff's kayak pulled our kayak down when they went down into the water, trying to get a hold of something. Fortunately for them, they found something. Unfortunately for us, we capsized. URGH. So into the sewage water we go. How gross. Had a quick dinner and lots of snacks courteousy of Michelle and fireflies curise before going back to campsite in the bus. Bathing was horrible, the toilet bowl was right beside the showerhead, so you had to take care not to fall in while bathing. And given only 1hr to bathe, and with 4 individual closed-door toilets, 4 doorless toilets, and 1 communal bathing area with 8 showerheads, some bimbos took 15mins to bathe. Nice. The four of us took 5 mins each. NICER. =D
2nd Day
Woke up to hear news of food poisoning across the entire cohort. Just so happened that among the 6 of us who shared the tent, only 2 got it, and they were sleeping at the entrance of the tent, so our sleep wasnt disturbed. My group of 23, only 5 of us didnt get food poisoning - Me, Siti, Michelle, Steph and Arjun. So we stoned around the area, waiting for the division on the mountain to descend, only to hear news that they had food poisoning on the mountain and had diarrhoea on the mountains itself. After packing our 60 litre hiking bags, we set off on our trek up Gunung Panti. I carried one of the big 60 litre bags! =D Upon reaching our first checkpoint with some difficulty, including a leech landing on my shoe and me trying to get it off desperately, we encountered heavy downpour, thunderstorms. Needless to say, we were soak. Too dangerous to continue trekking up, so we trek down the mountain once the rain slowed, sliding at moments, the rainsoak bags weighing down. Field cooking, the maggie mee was yummy, I ate lots and lots. At night, I found out that my sleeping bag was probably at the bottom of the bag, cos it was totally wet. So i had to sleep on top of it, and freezed during the night inside the conference room.
3rd day
We finally checked into our resorts! Haha, hooray! It was a big mess by the previous 2 divisions, but nvm, we cleaned it up to the best that we could. After water proofing everything in our daypack, we started off for our last expedition - Kota Tinggi Waterfall. I was hesitant about going, cos I was having rashes, some allegy reaction to the water. I went eventually. The road trek was about 30mins long, and the mountain trek was even longer. Though they was this part where we had to use both our hands and legs to support us, and another part where the water came up to mid thigh, for me that is. However, the same thing happened. The moment we reached our first checkpoint, it started drizzling. So we were given a choice to ascend or descend. The resulting decision was to descend. Oh i think I got a leech bite. So down we go and back to our resorts. And we had the frightful nightwalk. I HATE NIGHTWALKS. NICE HOT BATH AND NICE NICE UNDISTURBED SLEEP.
4th Day
Idiana Jones and Jetty Jump, bitches bitches and bitches. Pack up, boarded the bus, real excited to be coming home to Singapore. Sang "Home" upon reaching Singapore customs. My bus driver was real pro. We were one of the few buses to leave Kota Tinggi, and yet we were the first bus to reach school. =D I love you Uncle. Took my much-missed phone from locker, and hurried down to grab a taxi home before the rest of the cohort arrived. Came home and eat 2 times my normal potion and still felt hungry.
I ignored you. You were shocked and confused, I know. Sorry, I just didnt know what to do, how to face you. But I did acknowledge you the first time. I think I destroyed a friendship, even if nothing happens from it.
I'M SO GLAD TO BE BACK HOME! Now I can go shopping and play, play, play!
Home is where I belong.

Never have I been so excited for school holidays in my entire 11 (and counting) years of schooling. I guess it's just probably the toll of schoolwork and the summertests ontop of all the stuff that have been happening recently. I just want to give a shout of hooray, cos I can now say BYE to my panda eyes and tired, goggy-with-lack-of-sleep brain. Just thinking about waking up at some ungodly hour like 2 in the afternoon makes me excited. =D
Summertests are finally over! Let's just pray that I'll be able to pass them. Really angry with Geography paper today though. it was clear that my tutor specifically told us that we had to do 1 question out of 2, yet this was not the case. So there went my 25 marks.FOR NOTHING.
I think, I'm really just going to relax and enjoy my holidays. I've gotten my Nitendo DS, an early birthday present from my mummy, and I'm looking wayyyyyyyy forward to shopping sprees, sentosa suntanning sessions, picnic with the best people in my life, and arty farty Chijmes visits. And the best thing? To catch up on my much deprived sleep.
Going for IJC J1 Adventure Camp at Kota Tinggi from Mon till Thurs, wont be contactable till I'm back. =D
It's time to say goodbye to a chapter that never begin, to shut the door that was ajar.
It's all about enjoying life.

Best friend, I'm so happy for you now. Haha, I know you will read this eventually, I'm so proud of you for being able to play in today's rugby match. I'm quite guilty about not being as hyped up as i should be when you told me yesterday, so I'm kinda sorry for that. It's not everyday that I find you this happy. =D hahaha! I miss talking to you so much, and to everyone else of the gang. I wish we could see more of each other, but holidays are coming, and i really really cant wait to have our picnic!!!
Chinese was horrifying today. Ok, i know it's always horrifying, but it was even more so today. I cant stand chinese anymore and I'm so looking forward to the end of the year, when I'll be completely done and over with Chinese. I cant wait, really. =D Hope nobody sues me for some elitism remark over this. Heh.
As usual, my fingers are bruise from the vast amount of writing that has to be done. I forgot about my plasters, which meant that my fingers are bruised even more so than the norm. Sometimes, I wonder if i made the right choice choosing the Arts Stream over the Science Stream, even though science stream seemed to have a better future. Choosing the art stream, and from there, 3 arts subject combination seemed to be the wrong choice for my poor fingers during exam periods, but thinking about it, I guess it really isnt the wrong choice at all, cos despite all the writing that I do, I still love and excel in arts much more than I do for science. =) And guess what?

Summertests are officially starting.TOMMORROW.I dont even think I'm remotely close to being prepared at all. It makes me go insane, cos i just feel so tired after school everyday to even study. I just want to take pictures all day long and laugh till my face aches. Maths is a big headache as usual, and chi is a killer, like duh. And wow, i'm worried for my english for once. SERIOUS. =(

It seemed like 48375038 years ago since I've had some good decent rest. Everything just piles up, and no matter how much I try, I just cant clear it all. It's stressful, but it's ok, cos deep inside, we all know that we DO have the capability to do it all. =D
On the other hand! I'm done and over with NAPFA 2.4km, and clocked n an almighty personal best of 12.52mins. Cant deny that I'm real proud of myself!
AND ONE MORE THING! Picnic with Yichan and the gang during June hols, makes me real excited. Let's go and act pretty in the sun with butterflies fluttering around us!

I thought I would have the luxury of sleeping in today, but apparently not. So it has been a pretty busy and tiring week, and I'm just dying for some well deserved rest. Guess that's the life of a JC student, huh.
Hockey picture taking on monday, after the guy's last match at Delta! It's a pretty good thing school ended at 3.10pm on mondays, so I could rushed down and take team picture! Had econs test at 3.40pm, and waited for Dominic to mark his name for PE before cabbing down with him, Arjun, Liyana and Clarabelle. Saw Siyi there, got sprayed by the sprinklers and went gaga over the Australian Girls team.
Yesterday was my civics tutor's last day in Innova, which makes our class sad cos we cant joke around during chinese anymore, and we cant have early dismissal from civics and chinese lessons anymore. Mr Ng Chee Wee, class 0831B will really miss you.
Yesterday was Innova's annual Sports Evening too! I just love how the school can get so high and you can really feel the school spirit in the air, especially when everybody's singing the school song at the end of everything. Cheerleading was a blast afterall, even if we couldnt perform properly CAUSE THEY PLAYED THE WRONG MUSIC! I'm quite disappointed that I couldnt perform my last stunt, cos it's the ultimate coolio and mega glamness. =( And i spent such a long time practicing that. I was still in school at 9.30 practicing it on tues night. I ran my 4X100m, came in third! And I ran past someone during that race, which makes me gloat to myself inside! Heh. Was requested to run 8X50m, and I realised I couldnt run as I exceeded my limit like just before the race start, but oh well. OMG, i hated this so much, cos i was running head to head with the last runner and even though I felt we came in at the same time, apparently the Taurus runner came in first. URGH!
