It's official - I'm going totally GAGA over the Twilight series.
New Moon was pretty much a disappointment. It was quite...boring in fact. With all the unneccessary angst and mopping around. If that was the first book I would probably have not be so crazy over the series. But never mind, I forgive Stephenie Meyer, cos her first and third books are just so freaking awesome!!
I have been hunting around for a copy of Eclipse, and the fact that it's not available everywhere fustrates the hell out of me. Anyway, Michelle kindly borrowed her friend's copy and I got my greedy hands on it today. Needless to say, I've already completed it, 629 pages of it all.
Now i cant wait to read the last book, and watch the movie. This is my most anticipated movie for the year! Even more so than HSM3!!
I so cant freaking wait. I'm like a drug addict hankering for my heroin.

So i've set a new record. It feels like insomnia, but maybe it's not really the case. Went to bed only at 5am today, despite the fact that I was supposed to wake up an hour later for school. So i sat up and read New Moon, which I'm pretty proud to announce that I've completed it within 6hours. =)
Perhaps it was due to the wierd hours, but I had some kind of an epiphany while reading the book. What endears us to it, like the way bees are attracted to honey, is the knowledge of an alternate universe. We agree to surrender ourselves to it, to be lost in it, because deep inside of us, it is something that we all want really badly. Afterall, the forbidden fruit tastes the sweetest. What we cant get, the stronger our desire and craving for it. And that, is the secret formula to a best-selling novel. =)
I have plenty of things to be excited about! Class clique picnic, as well as forays into flea markets. I think I'm simply bubbling with excitement! =)

Great day! Very very pleased about my purchases today! Shopping@Town today, with Yichan, like FINALLY!
- Went Borders and bought my Twilight series books!!!
- Visited Heeren, bought 2 rings!
- Went Far East, got creeped out by Halloween ghouls!
- Found many cool shops in Far East, very Haji-lane
- New pencil case, from http://www.paperpeople-shop.com, also at Far East
It's so crazy at home that I dont want to come home anymore. It's like some kind of a hellhole. She comes home, 5mins later, my mum has thrown the laundry basket, and slam the goddamm door so hard, which is something she never does. I was so pissed off, but not pissed off enough to notice that she didnt eat the dinner my mum purposely cooked, but bought KFC instead. This is so fuck.

Today was my siesta day. I guess it's a good thing that I didnt make any plans today and get some long awaited rest. Bestie even commented that I've been going out pretty often these days. So i slept in today, never slept so much before, I'm really enjoying it. =)
So after the guys left Elia's house yesterday, I fell asleep while waiting for the girls to complete the cleaning up. Elia eventually chased me home when I woke up with 1 red left eye. Went home, watched Gossip Girl and went to bed at around 11pm? I woke up at 12 noon today, went to buy mummy's lunch, ate my sushi and fell asleep again till about 4. Woke up, ate my cup noodles, and fell asleep in the car again. Went to Grandma's house and fell asleep again. Just came home from the restaurant and I'm really sleepy again. I think I shall go sleep after this.
Plans for the long weekend ahead:Saturday - Siesta day + grandma house
Sunday - Relatives coming over for paternal Grandma's birthday
Monday - GOING OUT WITH BELLE! hopefully?
As much as I want to hate you, to loath you, to detest you, I must have my self-control.

Urgh, we walked from Wheelock to Cineleisure to Heeren to Taka to Paragon to Heeren again and lastly Cineleisure again..jpg)
Saw this shop at Paragon and was reminded of Dickson!

Shit, my camera is spoilt! Yesterday was a super mega bad day for cameras - 2 spoilt and 1 was lost on the cab. Maybe I must shower my love on my camera?? Anyway, off to watch Gossip Girl now!
P.S
Hrump. I want to read Breaking Dawn and the rest of the books by Stephenie Meyer but I just visited the library and ALL the books are on loan! =( I dont really want to spend the money getting those books, because I think I want to get C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia instead. HOWEVER. I have been feverishly playing my awesome DS recently, so I'm torn between books or my DS!! =O

I have been hearing lots of things that I dont wish to hear these days. But that's the way of life, and I gotta accept it, no matter if I like it or not.

The Great Wait is finally over, the suspense has ended. Results have been released to us, and it's pretty much the crucial make-or-break week. It's wonderful that my hard work finally paid off, I cant just describe how RELIEVE i am man. I think I kind of surprised myself too, by managing to pass all my subjects. Including how some of my subjects did wayyyyyyyy much better than I had expected them to be, like my GP essay, my econs, my maths and most of all, my chinese!
However, school's been pretty much a drag these days. There's something that's causing me fustration, but I just cant identify what. I think school and some of the people have been a big source of annoyance these days. I've been taking out my frustration by doing some ironing, I think next time, I'll just buy clothes that need no ironing. URGH.
I really love how the trio - me, steph and michelle, have managed to secure the 6 points for promotion. HOORAY! =)

Skipped GP and shopping@town today, with crazy people - Nadiah and Mir. And i really meant shopping at town, cos we alighted at Orchard and went home at Dohby Ghaut.
-Tangs Market@Mariott for otah, sushi and Macaron
-Far East Shopping Centre for pencil skirts, shades, scarfs, farmer hats and Famous Amous Cookies
-Pacific Plaza for "The Mystery of the Pink Roxy Wallet"
-Shaw House for lighthearted gossip
-Heeren for Paul Frank fun
-Cathay Cineleisure for checking out New Urban Male hotties
-Robinsons for Hagen Diaz bliss
-Plaza Singapura for glamour hats and spotlight.
Shop till we drop, literally. Nadiah left at 545, with her last words of "Neh neh", and me and Mir continued shopping till our legs pretty much gave way at 630. MRT seats never felt that wonderful before. Excellent trip, we got what we aimed for, and had crazy times, including bitching about our favourite subject, J.
Had an unfortunate incident today, pretty much spoilt half my day. I was at the Starbucks counter paying with my Nets, and the cashier actually threw the Nets machine at me. How dreadfully rude of the service industry. Pah.
Dropdead gorgeous

Interhouse games today, floorball's pretty touch. I'm really out of shape, having lost my breathe easily. It's cool that we drew 2-2 with Sagi, won 3-0 with Aquila and 1-0 with Taurus. Haha, Yijie's observation that I tend to become kan chiong at times is extremely true, especially when someone comes near me when i'm with the ball.
=( What makes it worse is how i used hockey skills for floorball. BUT AIYA. it's over. As with competition, there is always rife. Those that should be disqualified, those that shouldnt be playing played. BUT. Rasalas did pretty well today! Many of our events could get into finals, i really hope we can beat Taurus this year! =)
Rushed home after school to bathe before rushing out again to meet Peh Ching in town. But i'm so tired I couldnt really think well. Haha, I look taller in this picture, probably because of the hat.

OMG, can you just scream? COS PROMOS ARE LIKE FINALLY OVER! And because of that, I have this stupid urge right now to wear a party hat and blow party favours! The past 1 and a half week was just pure craziness, having to be at the hospital half the time, coping with a bad bout of flu in the middle of last week and trying very hard to cram every single detail into my mind. Despite being kind of confident about my papers, it doesnt mean that I am guranteed a promotion. However, I think i'll be positive and PRAY HARD! Afterall, it has been said that the moment you lose your faith and hope, half the battle has already been lost.
Grandfather's condition took a worse turn on Tuesday, his blood pressure dropping to dangerously low levels in the afternoon. I went down to the hospital at 10pm that night, to find out that all my cousins were there as well, including those whom are seldom seen at family functions. I spent Wednesday at the hospital as well as Saturday afternoon. Yesterday, he was transferred to an isolation ward.
It's great that exams are finall over, now I can just relax and go outttttttttttt. Cant wait really, I have so many plans waiting for me. =)
