Urgh. I just came home from playing badminton with the hockey girls for team bonding and I cant feel my right arm at all. Shall do some homework, catch a quick nap before heading down to Clark Quay with the gang for COUNTDOWN!
Ok, since I wont be home for New Year, I guess it's time for me to do my reflections and make my resolutions!
This year has really, really been a crazy year for me. The first day of this year was spent with the gang at the Starbucks outlet at Northpoint, looking at our primary school class photos and playing cards. It's almost a year now, and I'll be spending my first day of the year with the gang again. PAE was fun, especially the Jam N' Hop night. Release of O level results resulted in me being extremely confused. Should I stay in IJC or move on to better schools? Guess I know now that I've made the wrong choice afterall. Hockey has been great, i've made some great friends. This year, boys were a major source of headache for me. Exams killed me, and for the first time in my life, worry myself sick about retaining. Of course, there was my craziest trip to Bangkok, something which I would never forget. Friends this year were simply awesome: Steph, Jon, Belle, Nad, Mir, Mich, Waye Shyang, Jiemin, Yichan, Bing Hong, Joel and many, many more. By right, I should give thanks to them, it's all that I can ever do. So to whomever's reading my blog, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
I've been thinking much, and thinking hard. I've come up with some resolutions for the New Year which I am very determined to keep!
1) I AM FINALLY DECIDING TO CUT DOWN ON MY SALT INTAKE. Yala, I know. After so much nagging from my friends, I am going to try to cut down on my salt intake ok!! SO HELP ME PLS, and dont tell me "told you so!!"
2) I must try to keep my bedroom tidy. A week after I've packed my room, it looks like an earthquake or a hurricane, or whatever natural disaster you can think of, hit it again.
3) Every year I tell myself I must study hard from the beginning of the year. Every year I fail to do so, regretting it a few weeks before exams and then panicking like mad.
Ok that's 3 resolutions and that's enough. Make any more, and I'll break even more.
HAPPY NEW YEAR KUDOS! Dont sing Auld Lang Syne ok, cos I really hate that song.

It's finally Tuesday, and I'm happy.
Why?
Because I can finally cut my hair. I cant stand my hair anymore and even though I want to have Repunzel-hair, it's getting too thick and annoying for my liking. Especially my fringe. But nooooooo, I'm not going to cut it off short, cos if I do, I'll look even uglier for CNY.
Especially since I've lost my toenail and my cousin's boyfriend happily informed me that it took him half-a-year to grow it out. Thanks man, Shawn. sigh. And I wanted to wear my killer heels for CNY!!
Then again, I have always love cutting hair. Some kind of sadistic streak in me I guess, but it feels really shiok to see the hair fall. That is unless I've gotten a bad haircut. Now that's another matter entirely.

Out with the gang today, to Mind's Cafe at Princep street. Played Ugly Doll, some cool kind of Taboo game, Cluedo Disney Haunted version and True Colours..jpg)
In this game of Taboo, you move around the board, and depends on what colour that you land on, you play different kinds of Taboo. There's the normal spoken taboo, drawing, using that doll to act out the words and the last one is where you have only 15 words to give as clues only for ALL your words. ME AND YICHAN WON! Played True Colours after that and I found Michelle's scoresheet from her recent trip there!
Going out everyday has been taking a toil on me. I am going to stop going out so much and start doing my dreaded homework. YUCKS. Facial tomorrow, but my optician trip has been cancelled. =(
Iden's wearing the shirt that we bought for him from Bangkok! Guys should always polo tees; it makes that look more desirable. Just like this naughty boy!!!

Today's Boxing Day, and so is Leck Khai's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LECK KHAI! Today's also a busy day, with 3 appointments:
(1) 4-5 gathering
(2) 2-4 gathering
(3) PAE orientation group gathering
Aye, there was also training in the morning, which I skipped. Between the 3 choices that I have, it's pretty easy to guess the winner. So i went to East Coast Park to meet the happy people of 4-5 for our DIY BBQ. Here's what happened:
(1) Bought too little food
(2) Too much margarine
(3) My mushmallow caught fire and I had difficulty putting it out cos it just stuck to the grill and everything else
(4) Halim, inspired by my mushmallow, started launching burning mushmallows out into the sea with Jonathan
(5) Played soccer-monkey
(6) My right big toe nail came out in the process,
(7) Edwin tried pulling it out while Steph stuffed my mouth with mushmallows
(8) A fight almost broke out.
Christmas presents this year from relatives have been pretty boring, but then again, Chrismas is all about the spirit of giving, not receiving. Lots of edibles this year for presents, I have so many boxes of chocs which I have no idea what to do with!!
Christmas outing with the gang tomorrow! And dear Jiemin, if you're reading this, it's MIND'S cafe, not SETTLERS'.
Cruise
Thursday, December 25, 20082:57 AM

I slept at 4am yesterday and woke up at 9am this morning.
Just to bake.
Our cookies were pretty successful in the end. But the cookie dough that we bought failed, so we had to reamake the cookie dough using another receipe. Talk about a big mess man. Belle and me baked from 10am in the morning till 7pm. 9hours of baking and we only came up with this:.jpg)
But they're so pretty right! The hockey girls better appreciate their Xmas gifts, or else I will kill them all.
Right. Busy week this festive season.

Sunday, December 21, 200811:20 PM
Since everybody's doing the "According to your age, list down the number of things that most people don't know about you." thingy, I thought it will be interesting if i do it too! Ok let's see. I gotta list 17 stuff. Hmm.
1. I think some people are well aware that I took ballet lessons for a year when I was young. What they didnt know was the reason why I quit ballet. I was so annoyed with my mummy for asking me to demostrate what I learnt in class every week that I decided to quit instead.
2. This happened when I was either in my nursery or kindergarten. Anyway, one fine day, I came home from school and told my mummy that I learnt a new word! "Rem-bu-ten!" Of course mummy tried to correct me by telling me that it was "Rambutan", but I continued insisting that my teacher taught me it was Rembutan instead, and became so pissed that I cried non-stop.
3. In my graduation performance from my kindergarten, YMCA, i was supposed to be a... DUSTBIN. Hello, so demoralising can. Thank god my role was changed in the end. Kindergarten teachers should have more sense and never include dustbins or other demoralising roles in the performances. It ruins self-esteem.
4. Babies traditionally posess a small bean-bag, usually made by grandma and supposedly helps babies to sleep better. Sometimes it's known as "dou-dou". I'm sure you know what I'm refering to. 17 and a half years later, I'm still sleeping with mine. =D
5. When I was 9, I watched the movie, Billy Elliot, in the cinema with my mummy and my sister and we had the entire cinema to ourselves. I came home, got pissed with my sister, and drew inspiration from the movie and yelled at her "LATER I FART IN YOUR MOUTH". My dear mummy heard it as "later i FUCK in your mouth". I think there's no need to elaborate much on what happened next.
6. When I was young, my sister used to call me "stupid" ALL the time. I was so determined to prove her wrong that my biggest aim was to beat my sister in academics. Being 3 years older than me, obviously I could only compare results for national exams. I was sooooo damm happy that my PSLE score of 248 beat hers of 242, and my Olvl l1r5 of 12 was much, much better than her 23. It worked. She has stopped calling me stupid. I WON. ha.
7. I'm a murderer. I killed my hamster. BY ACCIDENT OK. And I was really young at that time. Haha. My hamster was inside its pink hamster ball rolling around my balcony. Then it started raining and I forgot to bring my hamster in. So when the rain stopped, I peak in and saw that my hamster was wet and drenched. I decided to dry it so I aimed my hairdryer at my hamster whilst it was in the ball. It died.
8. When I was in kindergarten, we had to attend those computer lessons at the YMCA HQ. Everytime we went, we'll have to wear a plastic nametag. One day, I went to take my denim jacket before leaving, and I accidently knocked into the Principal's son, who was younger than me, and running around. The impact cracked my nametag into 2. The principal scolded me for "running" into her precious son and punished me for my cracked nametag. I didnt tell my mummy, but I picked up the art of glaring by directing one at the principal. My principal further punished me for that glare. HAHA.
9. I once threw away someone's pencil sharpener on purpose when she wasnt around in primary school because I hated her so much. I never told her whatever happened to her sharpener.
10. I was a slow learner when I was young. I didnt speak till I was almost 2, and didnt walk till slightly after 2. Now my mummy wishes that I would just shut up and sit down.
11. I hate coming home ever since Primary 3 when I officially became a latchkey kid. I would loiter at the bubbletea shop located at the void deck of my old house with my friends till it was kind of late and then I would go home reluctantly. The routine changed when I went on to study at Anderson and it was impossible for me to go back there anymore. These days, I come home and switch on the television and my laptop's music almost immediately. I would even sleep in the living room with the television switched on.
12. I detest running. I started running in primary school because my sister mock me and constantly showing off her trophies in my face. So i got pissed and started running and collecting medals for my relays to match her trophies for her individual events. These days, I cant be bothered with her anymore.
13. As a young girl, I played with Barbie dolls. Everytime me or my sister accidently snap the head off, we will scream like hell and throw it out of the door and slam the door shut and continue screaming till someone fix back the head for us.
14. Once after a really bad quarrel with my sister at my Yishun house, I picked up the phone, took the room key and ran into the spare room and locked myself in. I phoned my mummy at work from that santuary that I created for myself , crying so hard I got dizzy and a bad headache, especially when my mummy scolded me instead of comforting me. I refused to leave the room and they had to call a locksmith to open the door. I think I was about 6 when that happened.
15. I started using the computer when I was 3. At that time, computers worked on MS DOS system, the CPUs were horizontal, five and a half inches floppy disk were mainstream and dot-matrix printers were used.
16. When I just transferred to YMCA from Glory Joy, we went on an excursion to the zoo. We were walking pass the playground when my teacher smelled something smelly and asked if any of us had passed motion. Being new in school, I didnt admit my guilt. When we reached back school, I bend down to take off my shoes and my teacher saw that I had stained my school skirt. I was so sad that day because I ruined my favourite pair of undies. HAHAHA.
17. When I became the head prefect in primary school, I hid that fact from my mummy for an entire year, until she chanced upon my badge which I accidently left in the toilet. I have no idea why I did that, but I gave it some thought over the years and came up with the plausible explaination. I think I wasnt sure that my mummy would accept me for who I was, and would have probably doubt my words and think that I lied to her. I guess I wasnt brave enough to face the truth.
New experienced today! I was at the Cold Storage, Takashimaya, buying sushi when a commotion broke out and I saw people chasing each other. Apparently they caught this Indian guy stealing Volka. When he was caught he was shirt-less and shoe-less. No idea why when I saw him with both on when he was running away. Haha.
Today was SUPPOSED to be a great day. Until she spoilt it all. So fuck. I wished she would stop yelling at me in public and humilating me. Life was so much more better when she was stuck in her dancing program and wasnt around. Sometimes I want to be mean and just wished that I didnt have her for my sister. URGH.
